Stadelmann 1972

History

In 1972, as a young goldsmith, Jürg Stadelmann acquired the Bijouterie Hofer in Marktgasse 29, where gold was forged since 1880, thus laying the foundations for the Bijouterie Stadelmann in 1972. His father Hans Stadelmann had previously run a jewellery shop with goldsmith workshop at Theaterplatz for over 30 years. Bijoux Stadelmann became a name with creations of individual and innovative jewels and managed to build a base of loyal customers. After 33 years, Jürg Stadelmann gave his business to Nicole Stadelmann in 2005. The third generation also cultivates high standards in the art of goldsmiths, combined with creativity and simple elegance.
