For over 40 years our work is our passion and for this reason we are only happy when our customers are also. Ours is a family-run company and for this reason we pay the utmost attention to ensure that our work is done in the best possible way.

The shed and the offices that rise in Vira Gambarogno on the shores of Lake Maggiore are built in the 1950s and after a period of inuse they are converted to a shipyard at the end of the 1970s.



Since its foundation, which took place in 1978 with the name Acquamondo, the shipyard, which is also one of the first to be born on Lake Maggiore and in Ticino, is managed by the Santomauro family, which then detects it in 1985.

Starting from its birth, the construction site has continuously grown and evolved and currently, thanks to the experience gained in over 40 years of activity and a qualified and motivated team, we have over 150 boats in management and have two sheds used for the remittance of the boats.



In 2010 Santomauro SA, trying to offer its customers an increasingly complete and accurate service, and looking for new synergies with a complementary sector to that of the boat, acquired the Boerlin Underwater Works SA, a leading company on Lake Maggiore in the field of underwater work. We also take care of everything concerning the mooring of your boat, such as laying and maintenance of boa plants, custom-made construction of piers and haulage plants, maintenance of marinas and much more.
