Milan Metall

I was born on 24 October 1978 in Zug and grew up in Rifferswil, Säuliamt. After attending the Rudolf Steiner School in Baar, I completed a four-year apprenticeship as a metallurgical worker at the Häberling forge in Uerzlikon. It was in this period that I was fascinated by the traditional techniques of the blacksmith, which I learned faithfully restoring ancient objects. This enthusiasm has remained with me and today benefits from various customized products. Before becoming a freelancer, I worked in several other metallurgical companies, to deepen my knowledge of the profession. Among these, the metal workshop of the Zurich Opera House, the Affaire metal workshop in Zurich and the Sonderegger metal workshop in Frasnacht TG.

I am an independent worker since 2004, after spending a year with various jobs in southern Africa. I'm married and father of three girls. Since 2015/16 I live and work in Stäfa, on Lake Zurich.
