The Swiss company MAT-CUT SA specialises in hyperbaric waterjet cutting of almost all materials, from stainless steel to paper, glass and synthetic materials.

Founded at the end of 1989, MAT-CUT SA has developed its know-how to meet the main concern of companies in the region:

Our niche: the subcontracting that uses high pressure waterjet cutting in all materials with precision and finishing according to customer guidelines.

Born from the meeting between the industrialist Paul Steiner and the subcontractor specialist Jean-Pierre Massé, our SMEs employed 4 people and generated an annual turnover of approximately 600,000 francs.

At the beginning of the 1990s, waterjet cutting was practically unknown, but our efforts allowed us to count among our customers CERN, EPFL, ROLEX, CARTIER, ETEL, etc.

Currently

Our company managed so far by Mr Hervé Baillod, has grown with the acquisition of new machines faster and more precise. Currently we have 5 people for an annual turnover of 1.2 million.

In addition, we can offer our 650 customers better services thanks to the microcutting, the accuracy of +/-0.01 up to 1 mm. and the high pressure technology of 6000 bar

Thanks to our knowledge and experience, matured over the years, we recommend our customers in the choice of materials and in mechanical design. All this while maintaining the quality required with the final goal: to reduce costs.
