Welcome to the La Bedra farm, since 2008 enrolled in Bio Suisse. Sell beef meat Bio and products of the pastry Cioss Prato DOP. We offer services from fork to fork and products from pasture to dish.

Direct sale From July to September you are welcome to Villa Bedretto by telephone appointment.

From November to May you can buy fresh bio meat from our Dexter calves that drink their mother's milk and eat grass, as long as possible to grazing. You can book it at any time. I will inform you as soon as I know when it will be available.

All year round or until exhaustion is available the cheese of the pastry Cioss Prato DOP as well as the salami of the pork of the Alps. In October there are fresh meat, luganighetta, luganighe and cotechini of the alpe pigs.

Our cattle

In our company animal welfare is very important. Therefore our cattle spend the winter in a spacious stable with regular outdoor exit and are grazing from April to November. Dexter breed cows are small and robust. Therefore they are ideal for our steep pastures in the Bedretto Valley. Since 2019 Riona and Klivia, two Jersey dairy cows are part of the herd.

Valle Bedretto, our territory

Our cattle graze from late May to mid-October in the Bedretto Valley where we also collect most of the winter forage. We exploit dry meadows rich in rare flowers that would otherwise be padded. Thanks to our cattle we can offer you delicious food from the Bedretto Valley.
