I Castelli

On the shore of Lake Maggiore, with a splendid panoramic view of the Castles of Cannero, lies Cannero Riviera, a pleasant lakeside resort with a mild climate, where our hotel is located. Its roots are very old and date back to the mid-19th century, when the old monastery located on the shore of Lake Maggiore was partly converted into a hotel, under the name Tre Re (Three Kings). In 1902, the structure was taken over by Carolina and Giovanni Gallinotto, who changed its name to Hotel Cannero. Maria Carla Gallinotto, together with her family members, continued the development by completing, in 2001, the restoration of the old Casa della Posta, which stands next to the hotel. It is a historic building dating back to the early 1700s, formerly belonging to the local noble family of the Barons of Sant'Agabio and now an integral part of Hotel Cannero. Since 2024, the management of the hotel has passed to Maria Carla's children, Samuele, Annalisa, Felice and Alfredo.
