What the "Front" of the capital on the Bärenplatz is for the inhabitants of Aarberg, their "Stedtli" is for them. One restaurant after another overlooks the square, and the small town even has its own outdoor festival, the "Stars of Sounds", which has been held for years. The "Hirschen" is all about gastronomy and music. After a long period of inactivity, the restaurant was recently reopened as "cult bistrot", with seven hotel rooms.

As a boutique hotel, the "Hirschen" focuses on the individual decor of the rooms. Music fans will be particularly excited about Room 4. The rollers act as bedside tables, a bistro table crab and the autographs of Büne Huber and other musicians are etched over the bed. The managing director Ema Baptista also has the rhythm in the blood. Born in Portugal, it comes from a family of professional musicians and as a young man was the singer of a rock band.
