In the friendly and family restaurant you can enjoy traditional Swiss dishes with fresh products from our farm and producers of our region.

We can accommodate 40 guests in the room and 40 on the beautiful terrace.

We serve these dishes with a mixed salad and a contour of choice: fries, potato croquettes, butter paste, rice or rösti.

Products from our farm

In addition to the restaurant Alte Post, we also manage a 10-hectare farm with about 8 cows, 3-4 young cattle and 6 goats. Our main stable is located in Grindelwald on Oberäll, towards Bussalp. We have installed solar panels on a half of the roof, with which we produce about 20,000 kWh renewable energy per year.

In summer, cows are located on the Bach Alps, where milk is turned into alpe cheese. In winter, we water calves with milk to produce veal meat for our restaurant.
