As a national organization, GINETEX Switzerland is the first contact point for all topics relating to textile labelling, its licences and its further development in line with the needs of the textile industry.

First point of contact for industry, commerce and consumers

GINETEX informs manufacturers, retailers, sales staff, consumers and consumers about the correct and up-to-date labelling of textile products. It is the point of contact to answer the questions of its licensors and interested companies or consumers on the labelling of textile products

Implementation and guarantee of ISO standard

GINETEX maintenance labels are an ISO standard since 2005 standard implemented. GINETEX therefore guarantees the standardized presentation of care symbols with the help of brand protection measures. It also supports the textile industry in its correct application.

The introduction of new fibers and finishes, new detergents and new solvents for professional cleaning of fabrics, as well as changes to washing programs, may require adjustments or innovations in fabric labelling.

GINETEX Switzerland therefore works closely with all the parties and sectors concerned with textile labelling at national level. It also informs license holders and contractual partners about the corresponding changes.

The national organisation GINETEX Switzerland maintains and expands its contacts continuously in the field of cooperation with GINETEX national organizations and with CEN and ISO European and international standards organizations.
