A family business over time

The garage Hans Schillig of Lachen was founded in 1979 and in 1981 Hans Furrer Sr. joined the workshop as director. In 1984 the family company was named Schillig AG, well known in the region. In 1988, Brigitta Furrer started working for the company, taking care of the office and administration. Together with her husband, she was elected to the Board of Directors in 1997 and together formed the new management team. Later, the shares were purchased and since 2003 the company is entirely owned by the Furrer family.

A moving company

The constant expansion of the product range, the search for good service and modern infrastructure have led to further changes. In 2009 the new Audi Centre of Lachen was inaugurated, to make justice to the brand and the increasing demands. Today the company has 36 employees and, in addition to its main activity, customers have been delighted with innovative ideas and events for several years.

A family remains faithful to itself

In 2014, the company continues to honor its tradition of family business. His son Hans Furrer Jr. joined the company and began working as a support manager. In 2016, the Furrer family opened a new chapter in the company's history. The company is renamed Furrer Auto and from that moment it becomes a spokesman of belief with its name: Strong brand.
