Drechselwerk

DrechselWerk is a small wood turning workshop with a shop-laboratory in Zurich and a workshop in Urdorf (ZH), which performs both specific works of wood turning for wood beams, architects, interior decorators and others, both repair and commissioning for individual customers. in addition to repair work and on commission for individual customers, such as the replacement of stairs railings, the production of a bowl, a stool or a coffee table according to the ideas of the customer. DrechselWerk also produces small series.

DrechselWerk stands for 100% Swissness, because only local regional wood species are processed. The unique character of each piece of wood is expressed in the finished object. In this way, unique pieces are created that also tell a piece of tree history: Wooden objects with character.

The special bowls for candles / flowers, in which wood meets gold, which can be filled with water and whose external surfaces are refined with different techniques, are very special.

The patented pillows of pine cember and millet in various sizes, filled with wood chips of pine scented cherry and pula of organic millet, are also available in the shop of the atelier.
