The dental technician is the auxiliary art of the health profession with which you reach the knowledge to proceed to the construction of fixed and mobile dental prostheses and other orthodontic appliances. The prints provided to the dental technician must be accompanied by a prescription that shows the type of prosthesis to be performed, the material to be used and all the design information necessary for the realization of the artifact. The dentist can be consulted at the doctor’s office whenever the dentist considers it appropriate. This can be done in order to optimize the customized medical device or for any requests for the purpose of building a prosthetic more in line with the aesthetic and structural characteristics of the patient. In Europe, Community Directive 93/42 requires dental technicians to attach a declaration of conformity to the essential safety requirements set out in the Directive.
