Coiffeur Vontobel

Max Vontobel Senior let his first hair fall on the floor of Coiffeur Vontobel over 60 years ago. Together with his wife Amalie, they started the men's salon. Later they added the ladies' salon. The couple worked until they were well over 80. Daughter Marlis also followed in her parents' footsteps and started working in her parents' business after completing her apprenticeship. Her sister Monika made her own name as a hairstylist in New York. Son Max also learned his parents' trade. He worked in the men's salon for a few years after his father's death until the end of 2018.In 1996 Marli's daughter-in-law Claudia Baldinger joined and they worked together until the end of December 2019. At the age of 73 Marlis went into well-deserved retirement.  Since January 2020, Claudia Baldinger & Tanja Brooks have continued to run the business.
