The Sommeri Education Center (BS) offers people with cognitive disabilities training, work and residence according to their individual needs. The accommodation is available both in the premises of Obersommeri, Amriswil and Romanshorn.

People with disabilities provide industrial and commercial services for the primary labour market. BS offers the following products and services:

Industry (series assembly, disassembly, assembly and order packaging)

Laundry

Catering ( Birthday, AGM and other events)

Operational maintenance

Cleaning

Our services offer people with disabilities a significant daily structure with personalized support according to their individual needs. The holistic structure of the day is integrated by sports and educational programs during working time.

The journey to work is possible by public transport, as the working time is based on this (08:15 - 16:45, breaks included). The workload can be chosen between 50 and 100%, provided you have a pension IV. or leave not paid per year, in consultation with the management.

If people with disabilities work at the BS and live independently or in another institution, the day structure team offers support and networking for issues outside the job. It also regularly organises recreational activities in evenings and weekends for external employees.
