About Charcuterie Buffat Sàrl
More than 4 generations of the family have thus succeeded one another, perpetuating the history of this family-run artisanal business.
Since 2017, it has been Marie-Hélène who has taken over the reins of the business to revitalize it and perpetuate this tradition.
The Boucherie Buffat has thus existed in Vuarrens since 1921-22. In fact, despite a great deal of research, it's impossible to pinpoint the exact date of its creation. For symbolism's sake, we've therefore opted for the date of birth of its creator.
1921 : Creation of the butcher's shop by Gustave Buffat (born July 20, 1897)
1962: Taken over by son Gilbert Buffat
1982: Sign passed on to Christian Buffat
2017: For the first time, it's a daughter, Marie-Hélène, who takes over the business.
The butcher's shop has therefore always been able to reinvent itself in the face of the events it has gone through.
Know-how and service are our major assets, and our regular customers demonstrate this to us day after day. New customers are discovering and appreciating it.
Unfortunately, on July 1 and 2024 the store closed for lack of customers.
You can place your orders and pick them up at the store.
