About Backbar
The Zurich Seefeld Backbar was founded in 2001 by Line and Wolfram Schniepp. The bakery also offers a take-away area and a small café bar. The Backbar team consists of a total of 14 employees.
Backbar uses regional and organic ingredients where possible. Backbar products are based on the pillars of naturality. Therefore, chemical additives are not used. Fresh products are made daily in the bakery according to the recipe of the bakery itself.
At the address of the present Backbar, from the beginning of the 19th century, there was a bakery with an internal oven. In 2005, the bakery was renovated and expanded.

The bakery bar offers a wide selection of healthy bread. We cook with certified organic cereals and flours. Specialities made with our creations of mother yeast and spelt, which are transformed into tasty breads and sandwiches thanks to a long process of dough. It will also find a wide range of products, from pretzels to raspberries.
